The Your Account Status section on the PayPal Manager Home page indicates if your status is Test or Live. You can also renew your Payflow membership here.
Additionally, you can also complete registration tasks in this section.
Only an administrator can change the status of an account or renew a membership.
When you first begin using your PayPal Payflow account, the status of your account depends on what you specified during registration, or how your account was set up for you.
Test. All transaction information is sent to test servers at PayPal. No money trades hands in test transactions. Once you complete your testing, you can go Live by clicking on Activate Your Account in the Your Account Status section of the PayPal Manager Home page. Active accounts perform Live transactions.
Active. All transactions that you submit are sent to the financial institutions for processing and real money is transferred.
Even though your account is active, you still have the option to troubleshoot problems by submitting test transactions—just specify a test transaction and use test credit card account number.
You can renew your membership using the Your Account Status section. PayPal sends you a renewal notice through email 45 days before your account is set to expire.
Click the Renew your Account to renew your membership. Refer to the online help on the renewal pages for additional information.
After registration, you may need to complete some or all of the tasks listed below:
Confirm Email. Follow the steps on PayPal Manager to confirm the email address you provided during registration.
Set Up Bank Funding to Lift Withdrawal Limits.
Add Bank Account. Follow the steps on PayPal Manager to enter your bank account information so that you can withdraw from and transfer funds directly to your bank account.
Enter and Confirm Deposit Amount. PayPal deducts a small account from the bank account you specified to ensure that you are the rightful owner of the account.
